Cortlandt Man Charged With DWI After Stop For Failing To Use Turn Signal

CORTLANDT, New York – While on routine patrol, a New York State Trooper stopped a driver for failing to use a turn signal, ultimately charging the driver with driving while intoxicated on Nov. 1.

The trooper stopped Matthew Cuomo, 28 of Cortlandt, on the routine stop and determined him to be intoxicated, the police reported. 

A breath test revealed that Cuomo had a Blood Alcohol Content of .16%, twice the legal limit. 

Cuomo was issued traffic tickets as well as being charged with the misdemeanor DWI and is due in court on Nov. 9, 2015.
